Illinois
Illinois is home to the largest number of Wright designs anywhere in the world, the majority of them being private homes. A few unique designs include Wrights Home and Studio, and a very early church/temple design in Unity Temple both in Oak Park. One of the finest examples of Wrights Prairie style design is in Chicago at the Fredrick C Robie home and Wrights only home designed for a paraplegic in the Kenneth and Phyllis Laurent Home in Rockford.
Illinois has 178 Wright designs in total with two (2) being UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Robie House and Unity Temple.
