What Is The Most Unusual Frank Lloyd Wright Design in Arizona?

I’d consider this one of most unique Frank Lloyd Wright designs in Arizona… and that is saying a lot.

No005 #500fllwproject • Jorgine Boomer Home (1953) • Scottsdale, Arizona

Here is the Jorgine Boomer House (1953). I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph it in 2012, early on in my #500fllwproject, it is No005.

When a design in Seaside Carmel fell through Wright repurposed the design for the Boomer house, rotating it 180° to turn its back to the desert sun.

It is a small two-story around a central chimney flue of continuous desert masonry. Beautiful design. Have you been?
