Frank Lloyd Wright’s Dr. Ina M. Harper House. No072 (#500fllwproject)

In 1950, the town of Saint Joseph, Michigan gained its second Frank Lloyd Wright design.

The Harper house named after Doctor Ina M. Harper, who commissioned the design, is believed to be the last home built by Wright in Michigan. Although most of the furniture was sold off in the 1990s, the salmon colored Chicago common brick and tidewater Cypress have been restored and look phenomenal.

It’s No072 on my #500fllwproject to photograph all remaining Wright designs around the world.
