Wright, Erdman And The DIY Movement.

Big thanks to the Wisconsin Historical Society for the Mary Ellen and Walter Rudin Home cover! 🤘🙏

Great article on Marshall Erdman and his DIY work coming out of Madison. Frank Lloyd Wright partnered up on a few pre-fab houses with Erdman, the Mary Ellen and Walter Rudin Home 1957 in Madison being one of those. I didn’t realize how influential Erdman was in the DIY movement. After reading the article it makes more sense why Wright partnered up.

I had the privilege of photographing the house for the project a few years ago. I immediately fell in love with it and wanted to move in…to my surprise the family living in there said no 🤷‍♂️ 😁

Q: Do you like the pre-fab house movement?
