Student Gallery 1
Without further ado…..I present the Taliesin West summer camp (session one) STUDENT GALLERY. This is the vertical edition. I don’t like to tell the students exactly what to shoot, that really squashes the whole point of inspiration. Instead I give them ideas and the tools to tell that story of inspiration through their images. These are the objects, shapes and colors that inspired them. Bonus: We print the images out so the students (and parents) can have their own little refrigerator gallery at home. 📷

Student Gallery 2
Round Two: Here is the Taliesin West summer camp (session one) STUDENT GALLERY, horizontal edition. One day, I gave the kids a shot list of general themes or ideas to find as we did our photo walk. One theme was “Happy” and a student named Hale was so excited he had found an old model car in a window. He said he was happy because he loves learning about old car and planes. Check it out. It’s always so interested to see what inspires kids in their photography.
