Student Gallery (horizontal edition) from the summer photography camp at Taliesin West with @wrighttaliesin last week.

All the students were 13-15 years old and I have to say, I have been teaching this kids photo camp for over ten years and this is the most impressive group, as a whole, that I’ve had the privilege of teaching. The willingness to learn and how well they could translate what caught their eye to a professionally composed image was next level. Everyone can see beauty, it’s a whole different and difficult thing to capture that beauty through a camera.

I hope this group continues their creative journey into the arts, we need more artists in this world.
