Frank Lloyd Wright's Stromquist Home
Here is the Don M. Stromquist Home 1958, the only Frank Lloyd Wright design in Utah and #107 on my project to photograph all remaining Wright designs around the world.
One interesting and unique feature of the Stromquist home is its fenestration: the manner in which the window wall is sloped parallel to the roofline overhead.
This concept appeared only once before in Wright's work, in a studio he designed and built for the artist Archie Teater and his wife in Idaho in 1952.
Talk about bringing nature in…There really isn’t a bad seat in the (Stromquist) house! 😎
